Since the house was built in 1875, we did not want to destroy the character of the building. But, as time passed, we found that our guests wanted canopy beds and whirlpool tubs, instead of antique claw-foot tubs. So, we opened the Margaret Bland Room and added whirlpool tubs to the Hayes and Glenn rooms.
