Welcome...To a unique Pennsylvania bed and breakfast that takes you on a passage across lands and cultures and back in time, without ever leaving the heart of historic Gettsyburg!  PASSAGES INN GETTYSBURG: A Bed & Breakfast with an International Accent, is a renovated pre-Civil War (1834) home on famed Baltimore Street, where the Confederates set up a barricade those fateful days in July, 1863.  Today that home reflects the innkeepers' interest in international affairs and travel, and offers casually elegant lodging, gourmet breakfasts, and innkeepers who are delighted to help you create a memorable vacation.  On y parle francais.  .Each of our three large, second floor guest rooms is furnished in antiques with an exquisitely comfortable, quilt-covered queen bed, private bathroom, cable TV and A/C, wing chairs and rockers, and its own international motif. There is also a small game room where guests are welcome to play cards, Scrabble, chess (on a handmade needlepointed board with hand-carved pieces from England) and even the traditional and still widely popular Kiswahili game, Bao.You're invited to relax or socialize in the guest parlor, which has artifacts from around the world and a large built-in bookcase from which you may borrow reading materials during your stay. from California, Passages Inn Gettysburg innkeepers Paulette Lee and Gary Froseth have been married 30 years and have lived in California, Indiana, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, PA, Gaithersburg, MD, and now are back in Pennsylvania to operate the B&B. Paulette is an international development communications specialist who speaks French, and recently returned from 11 months living and working in Africa (Ethiopia and Rwanda). Gary is a lifelong broadcast journalist, with an avid interest in aviation and rail transportation. In addition to foreign affairs, the couple share a love of art, theater, and dance.
